Activity and Results
Consip’s activity is deployed along two principal business lines:

Management and development of information technology systems on behalf of the Ministry of the Economy and Finance – Treasury Department (MEF), providing project, technical and organizational know-how
- Implementation of the Program for the Rationalization of Public Expenditure in Goods and Services through the use of information technology and innovative purchasing tools.
These two distinct activities are tightly integrated within a common model that is primarily based on innovation research and on the use of Information and Communications Technology applications in the processes and organization of Public Administration. Both are based on the resource represented by all the high-level know-how of the people who work in Consip.
