In the context of its innovation and development initiatives, Consip operates in two principal areas. The “Strategic Projects and Initiatives” area deals with projects of national and international scope aimed at the optimization of purchasing processes, organizational rationalization and the improvement of purchasing tools. The “IT Innovation Initiatives” area deals with the monitoring and analysis of the evolution of information technology –both at the national and international levels- promoting the research and development of synergies and partnerships with other public and private institutions.
